This is about spending a few winter days in the Hague tasting cheese. My two grown up kids live in The Hague where they are both studying Fine Arts.
The Hague reminds me of Copenhagen in Denmark, where I lived for many years.
If you travel to The Netherlands, you must go visit The Hague, which is quite different from Amsterdam. The Hague is calm and beautiful, and there are only a few tourists especially during the winter.
There are nice food shopping options. Visit the organic supermarkets called Ekoplaza, and best of all; the cheese shop called Ed Boele in Fahrenheitstraat!! For many years this shop won a price of being the best cheese shop in the Netherlands.
See picture from the shop.

Well, what do I mean when I frequently refer to Your Lovely Leftovers?? If you’re used to quick dinners like take-away or if you don’t like to cook at all, then for sure you’d never have thought of leftovers as something lovely.
If however you will take my experiences of the LowCarb-HighFat Lifestyle into consideration, you will from now on always have the most lovely leftovers in your fridge.
My husband travels a lot, and my two grown-up children lives abroad. I myself live for the love of fabulous food even when I’m on my own. The unbaked pizza in the picture was my dinner last night (10 min in the oven at 220 degrees C). All made of leftovers from our week together. Nice! Have a look below to get inspired for your own selection of pizze.
One day I got home, I tried this recipe for Turmeric Tomato Cod with Prawns for the first time ever. Actually the recipe was invented in the making! I went to the good fishmonger, and saw these completely fresh cod fillets. I tried to imagine what would suit the gorgeous cod except from lemon and mayonnaise.
For the time being I’m a bit tired of Chunky Fried Fish, never thought that would happen though.
I bought turmeric and tomatoes and a handful of raw organic prawns, and when I stood in my kitchen with these nice ingredients it just came to me!
Recipe below!
